1. To organise and implement Survey and Mapping courses that has been approved by Jawatankuasa Perancangan dan Penyelarasan Latihan Jabatan (JPPLJ) (Planning and Coordination Training Department).
2. To provide lecture in survey and mapping regulation/discipline.
3. To coordinate all the courses related to Survey and Mapping.
4. To evaluate effectiveness of each related modules and courses, and to provide improvement suggestions when necessary.
5. To plan training programme and research to enhance instructor and staff skills at Survey and Mapping Division.
6. To coordinate invitation of all the speakers that provide lecture both in generic and technical topics with speciality background from the Department of Survey and Mapping (JUPEM), higher education institute, private sectors and professional personnel
